Is EMBASSYŽ Trust Suite compatible with Vista?
EMBASSY Trust Suite and Vista Compatibility
Dell has released ETS "Lite" for Vista as version A14. This package includes Embassy Trust Suite, UPEK drivers, and the NTRU TSS. If your system shipped with a pre-installed copy of Embassy Trust Suite, you can obtain the Vista-compatible version from the Dell website.
If you are upgrading from XP to Vista, Please follow the upgrade instructions:
XP to Vista Upgrade
ETS Enterprise Security Dell Edition 3.x and Wave ETS 6.x fully support the Windows Vista OS.
Previous versions of these products do not support the Windows Vista OS.
Upgrading to a Vista-compatible version of ETS
- Dell customers should visit the Dell website for updates. (For more information on obtaining updates for your Dell computer, please see the following article PBA-002.)
- If you purchased ETS Enterprise through Envoy Data or Dell, you will need to purchase a new license.

What is Form Fill?
Private Information Manager Form Fill allows users to easily enter name, address and credit card information into web-based forms.
Users can choose to set up Private Information Manager to automatically fill forms (Settings - Options - Web Form Fill Options) or
they can use the Form Fill Tool to click and fill or drag and drop the information into website forms.

How does Private Information Manager secure information?
Private Information Manager uses the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for enhanced security. Personal information stored by Private Information Manager is protected by secure hardware in the PC and cannot be viewed by others.

Every time I go to a website with any kind of form, PIM asks if I want to form fill, how do I make it stop?
Right-click on the PIM Icon running in the System Tray; select settings at the top you will see form fill Options. Within the Form Fill Options, you can select when PIM prompts for automatic form filling.

Why won't PIM prompt me to save a new username and password?
When enabled, PIM will attempt to automatically save the username and password for each website to which you login.
PIM will almost always be successful in performing this function, but unfortunately, there are times that PIM will not successfully prompt to save a username and password.
Problems in prompting are typically due to non-standard programming practices used by web designers.
When this situation occurs, you can manually create an entry in PIM Favorites and fill in the appropriate login information for later reference.

Why does PIM fill in some web forms correctly but not others?
When enabled, PIM will attempt to fill all browser-based forms with the appropriate information from your profile.
PIM will almost always be successful in performing this function, but unfortunately, there are times that PIM will not successfully fill a web form.
Problems filling forms are typically due to non-standard programming practices used by some web designers.

How do I manage passwords in Private Information Manager?
When using Private Information Manager, users will be prompted for a Password to login. The Password is used to access data that is protected by the PC's TPM.
It is important that users do not forget the Password as they will not be able to access the Private Information Manager data without it.
Users can configure ESC so that a single password (the user's Windows account password) or fingerprint biometric is used for all TPM-protected applications, including Private Information Manager.

How do I add a Credit Card into Private Information Manager?
To add a Credit Card:
- Select the Add New button.
- Enter the appropriate credit card data.
- Enter a description of the credit card into the Credit Card Properties field (e.g., Personal Visa card or Work AMEX card).
- Once all of the data is entered, select the Save button to save the new entries.

How do I edit a Credit Card in Private Information Manager?
To edit a Credit Card:
- In the Available Cards window, select the card to edit.
- Select the Edit button.
- Make the appropriate changes to the desired fields.
- Select Save.

How do I set a Default Credit Card in Private Information Manager?
To Set the Default Credit Card:
- Right click on the PIM System Tray icon and select Open from the menu.
- Click the Wallet tab
- One of the available cards in the credit card list can be specified as the default credit card. When completing a form, this will be the first card offered for the form fill operations.
- In the Available Cards window, select the card to make the default.
- Click the check box at the bottom of the Wallet tab labeled: Make this my default credit card.
