5.3.1 Modifying Users PIM Profile

The User's Profile stores personal profile information, including name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. The information stored in the Profile is secured by the TPM hardware. This data is used by PIM to automatically fill web based forms. Users may define multiple profiles in order to organize information by home, office, etc.

To add a Profile:

  1. Right click on the System Tray icon and select Open from the menu.
  2. Click the Profile tab (see Figure 5.31).
  3. Select the New Profile button to add a new profile.
  4. Enter data into the fields as desired.
  5. Select Save.

To edit a Profile:

  1. Right click on the System Tray icon and select Open from the menu.
  2. Click the Profile tab (see Figure 5.31).
  3. Select the 'Address' to edit from among those in the list.
  4. Select the Edit Profile button.
  5. Update the desired fields.
  6. Select Save.

To delete a Profile:

  1. Right click on the System Tray icon and select Open from the menu.
  2. Click the Profile tab (see Figure 5.31).
  3. Select the 'Address' to delete from among those in the list.
  4. Select the Delete button.
  5. Select Yes to confirm operation. This cannot be reversed.
