Document Manager Overview
Description: Document Manager is a tool that provides a secure
and convenient way to manage your documents. Document Manager secures
digital files locally using the EMBASSY Cryptographic Service Provider
(CSP) technology.
Document Manager provides secure storage and management capabilities
for file and folder level encryption.
- Secure: Document Manager uses the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for enhanced security. Files or folders encrypted with Document Manager cannot be viewed by unauthorized users.
- Convenient: Document Manager allows the creation of multiple vaults on any mountable device (shared drives/directories, USB memory devices, etc.).
- Team Friendly: Document Manager allows the secure sharing of vaults among designated users. Document Manager users may setup vaults for limited groups on company servers. Authorized users enjoy secure access to up to date documents. Unauthorized users cannot access the vault.
- Intuitive User Interface: Document Manager provides a friendly "explorer-like" view of protected files and folders. Encrypt a single file or complete folders. Simply drag and drop the files or folders into the Document Manager Vault to be protected.
- Support for Power Users: Document Manager vaults automatically appear as mapped drives on the current system. Users can access Document Manager vaults just like they access any other file or folder. Anything stored in a Document Manager Vault/Mapped Drive is automatically secured using the Trust Platform Module (TPM).
