How to Upgrade/Repair/Reinstall the Embassy Trust Suite that came preinstalled on a Dell PC

Downloads are available at the Dell website. For hardware other than Dell, please see the OEM site for available options.

Go to http://support.dell.com/support
  1. Choose Drivers & Downloads.
  2. Select your computer model.
    Note: Searching by Service Tag may not display all drivers for your configuration. Please be sure to select the "All Drivers" tab if you choose to search by this method.
  3. Select the Operating System
  4. The package will either be listed under Security as Wave Systems Corp-Application or under Control Point for those machines that are using Dell Control Point as the Dell Control Point Security Manager.
  5. Click on Download Now and save this file to your hard drive.
  6. Once the file has finished downloading, double-click to run it.
  7. It will create a directory under C:\dell\drivers\(name of the .exe file) and extract files into that directory.
  8. Once all the files have been extracted, the installation process will start.
Note: If you are upgrading your operating system to Vista or Windows 7, it is essential to follow the Windows Vista Upgrade Procedure or Windows 7 Upgrade Procedure prior to upgrading your operating system to Vista and installing the upgrade of ETS for Vista. This procedure outlines specific instructions for saving keys and backing up PIM and Vault data as well as uninstalling the current ETS to allow the upgraded version to run properly.
