Automatic Windows Logon

Automatic Windows Logon allows you to configure your Dell PC so that a single fingerprint swipe will automatically enter all the enabled Preboot Security passwords and your Windows Logon password.

Preboot Security and Windows Secure Login require local administrator rights. Contact your IT Administrator for information on setting these rights for your PC.

To enable Automatic Windows Logon, perform the following:

1. Launch the EMBASSY Security Center
2. Select the Windows Login tab
3. Select the Enable Secure Windows Login option
4. Select the Password or Biometric option from the Authentication Type dropdown menu
5. Select the Apply button near the bottom of the page
6. Select the Preboot Manager tab
7. Select the Advanced Settings button
8. On the Windows Logon tab, select the Enable Automatic Logon

Note: Upon reboot, you may be required to enter your Windows password once to login. Subsequent reboots will login from a successful fingerprint scan.
