Getting Started
with Trusted Computing

Trusted computing is an industry standard to make personal computers more secure through a dedicated hardware chip, called a Trusted Platform Module (TPM).

Step 1

Identify and Activate a Trusted Platform
The first step is to identify if you or your business already have a Trusted Platform. Most business-class laptops and desktops come equipped with TPMs. Please consult your PC manufacturer to find out if your PC includes a TPM.

Step 2

Turn on the Trusted Platform's extended security features
After you have verified with your PC manufacturer that your PC contains a TPM, check out Wave's Trusted Computing Solutions to learn more about the added value that the TPM brings to the PC. For an enterprise environment, Wave provides applications for advanced data protection, network protection, and identity protection. Wave's turnkey solutions enhance the security of your enterprise with each new Trusted Platform while reducing or eliminating the cost of less effective solutions.
