Data Protection with SanDisk and Wave [1]

SanDisk self-encrypting drives (SEDs) not only offer industry-standard encryption, they also have less impact on system performance than software encryption, and can be incorporated efficiently as part of a typical PC refresh cycle. Each SanDisk X300s self-encrypting solid state drive includes Wave's local management tool, ESC [2], to provide basic control over access to the drive's encrypted data. Add Wave centralized management via Wave Cloud [3] or ERAS for SED Management [4], and the enterprise can be assured that data is protected to the best available standard.
